The Unicist Paradigm Shift in Sciences

The International Unicist Conferences are a virtual space where the Unicist Theory and its applications to deal with the nature of businesses are shared with the community. These Conferences sustained the community of The Unicist School that has now more than 60,000 members worldwide.

This XI Conference is now in its preparation period. It will be open for participation on January 2, 2017.

The XI International Unicist Conference has three core objectives:

1) The presentation of the global social, economic, political business trends 2017/2018. 

The global trends are presented by the Unicist Future Research Laboratory to provide information on the evolution of the global structural and conjunctural trends. http://www.unicistinstitute.net/future-research/

2) Presentation of the ongoing Researches & Call for Essays

There are five major researches ongoing in the following fields: Medicine, Education, Information Technology, Future Research and Business Intelligence. See: www.unicist.org/scientific-collaboration.php This Conference will present these findings and the next step to transform the researches into solutions in these fields.

The call for essays includes the invitation to the more than 50,000 followers of the Unicist School. These essays can be presented in English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish and will be published in a book in their original language. (See “Call for Essays” below.)

3) Honor the achievements in the field of business objects development that emulate the organization of nature.

The business objects that are presented are selected by members of the Unicist School or are presented by the companies that have developed them. No objects developed at The Unicist Research Institute or its associated organizations can be presented in these Conferences.

Only objects with public visibility are accepted (they have to belong to the public domain) in the Conference in order to avoid affecting competitive advantages that might have been built using these objects.

There is an International Jury that evaluates the objects in order to define the three prizes that have been established for each category.

Awards


The awards are defined by an International Jury that evaluates the candidates based on three criteria: their architecture, their functionality as benchmarks and their critical mass.

Nomination Period until January 2, 2017: Propose your Case


There is a preparation period for the Conference that ends on January 2, 2017. During this period the candidates for the awards of the year are published. This period is the first step to give open access to the information on how companies emulate the organization of nature by using business objects.

Nominated Driving Business Objects

The function of driving business objects is to achieve the concept that underlies their creation. To do so, they need to generate added value and have a quality assurance system that ensures the value they add. The quality assurance system can be an automated system -in case of systemic objects- or a human dependant control system -in case of operational objects. Driving business objects drive the purpose of business functions, which implies that they need to have the critical mass to influence the environment to achieve it.

Nominated Catalyzing Business Objects

Catalyzing business objects are elements of the restricted context of a system that can be used to influence other objects to accelerate their work. They are not part of the system they accelerate. Catalyzing objects are energy conservation functions of a superior level that influence the use of the energy of a system. They need to be designed with an intrinsic ambiguity in order to allow the participants to decide to accelerate. If they are not ambiguous, they do not work as catalysts and produce paradoxical results.

Nominated Inhibiting Business Objects

The purpose of inhibiting business objects is to sustain the focus of the concept that underlies the driving objects. By establishing the focus, they need to inhibit any activity that is beyond this focus. Although these objects are based on fostering a commitment with results in order to fulfill their functionality, their core aspect is the quality assurance of the focus which sustains their inhibiting activity. Inhibiting business objects establish the space where a process has to happen. They need to have the necessary critical mass to avoid changes of this space.

Nominated Entropy Inhibiting Business Objects

Entropy inhibiting business objects seek to ensure that the need of a process is satisfied. Their active function is to ensure that the focus on the needs is maintained. They provide the control function of objects and are complementary with the driving objects in order to ensure that the solution of the concept is being achieved. They need to have the necessary critical mass to avoid changes in the focus on the goal that has to be achieved.

Nominated Gravitational Business Objects

Gravitational business objects impose an authoritative context in order to foster freedom of individuals and provide a framework of security to influence individuals’ actions. They need to be based on subliminal design and an adequate level of participation in order to ensure that leadership can be accepted. They represent the wide context that influences the restricted context and thus the system. They need to be separated from the catalysts and from the objects of the system in order to work independently from them.
